"Folsom Physical Therapy has allowed me to become more functional than I had been in many years. I am very grateful."
Larry Goldman, M.D.

“The high level of physical fitness required to do my job would not have been possible if it weren’t for Michael, Tim, Rachel, and Bridget.  My rehabilitation at Folsom Physical Therapy following two different back surgeries is what allowed me to return to full duty without limitations or restrictions. Thank you to this group of experienced, top-quality, professionals for making it all possible.”
Ken Hohloch, firefighter/paramedic

About us

Partners Tim McGonigle and Michael J. Moore share a unique mindset and history. Both went through post-graduate orthopedic residency education that was exceptional in this country, offered only to a fraction of the physical therapy community. These unique and exclusive year long residencies involved extensive, one-on-one manual practice with instruction by internationally known physical therapists such as Olaf Evjenth and Freddy Kaltenborn.

With this strong and distinctive educational foundation, Tim and Michael became one of the founding members of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, a nationally recognized organization whose purpose it is to conduct, regulate and promote specialized orthopedic physical therapy training in the USA. They have been invited to speak at state and national symposiums on orthopedic rehabilitation. Their dedication to the ideal of excellence in orthopedic physical therapy yielded Folsom Long-term Orthopedic Manual Therapy Course. Nationally recognized, FPT is considered a leader in post-graduate continuing education for physical therapists.

The umbrella of Tim and Michael’s dedication to the highest quality physical therapy covers their day-to-day clinical practice with clients and patients, and their selection of staff. Rachel Worman, DPT joined the staff of Folsom Physical Therapy in 2008, expanding its list of services to an even broader audience with the addition of the Women’s Health Program. The 2009 addition of Brigit Moore, MPT brings her interest in developing a specialization in the treatment of vestibular and balance disorders. This talented staff conducts one-hour initial evaluations with each new client, succeeded by follow-up visits with the same therapist for optimum continuity of care. Only licensed physical therapists deliver care at Folsom Physical Therapy.
