Tim McGonigle, P.T.

Tim McGonigle, PT graduated Magna Cum Laude in Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno in 1980.  Mr. McGonigle’s post-graduated training in manual therapy is unique as he successfully completed both the Folsom Physical Therapy Year-Long Course and the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center at Hayward, California in 1982 and 1983 respectively.  He passed the examination in the Kaltenborn-Evjenth Manual Therapy System conducted by Olaf Evjenth in 1990.

Mr. McGonigle has been a partner with Michael Moore, P.T. at Folsom Physical Therapy & Training Center since 1984.  He is a faculty member of the Folsom Physical Therapy Year-Long Course and of the Folsom Manual Therapy Residency Program.  He has taught numerous short courses on the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders since 1984.

Mr. McGonigle has been published in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.  He has been a guest lecturer for the Kaiser Hayward Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program.  He presented at many commendable events including the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996; the University of California at Davis’ 11th Annual Review and Update of Pain Medicine in San Francisco, California in 2002; the Pain, Palliation & Politics Meeting sponsored by the University of California at Davis Pain Management Department and the California Medical Association in Sacramento, California in 2004; and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy 11th Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2005.  He has been a guest lecturer for the University of California at Davis Pain Management Department since 2001. 

Mr. McGonigle has been a member of the APTA since 1980 and a Full Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists since its inception in 1994.


Michael J Moore

Michael J. Moore, PT received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1975. He completed the six-month course in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) under Margaret Knott at the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, California and remained on staff from 1975 - 1977. He completed the two-year Norwegian Level I Mobilization Residency in Oslo, Norway under the instruction of Olaf Evjenth, Freddy Kaltenborn and Hans Gunnari in 1980.
Mr. Moore is a partner with Tim McGonigle at Folsom Physical Therapy and Training Center, which he founded in 1983. He has organized and presented numerous seminars in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) and the integration of OMT and PNF. In 1981, he began the Folsom Long Term Orthopedic Manual Therapy Course which continues today. In 1991 Mr. Moore was awarded provisional instructor status in the Kaltenborn-Evjenth concept of Manual Therapy.

Mr. Moore is one of the eight founding fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He held the position of secretary on the AAOMPT executive board for two years. In 2009 he received honorary life membership of the AAOMPT.

He was a wrestling coach at Folsom High School from 1994 - 2006 and head coach from 2000 - 2004. Mr. Moore has been married to Lynn Bollinger, P.T. since 1977 and they have four grown children.

Assistant Instructors

Rachel Worman, DPTRachel S. Worman, DPT, MPT graduated with her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from the California State University, Fresno and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in the first joint doctoral program at the University of California, San Francisco and California State University, Fresno. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, with an emphasis in Visual Neuroscience, and a Minor in Exercise and Health Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rachel currently works as an orthopedic and women’s health specialist at Folsom Physical Therapy, which is also where she has completed 2 years of advanced training in the recognized Folsom Physical Therapy Long Term Course, plus multiple short courses. Additionally, she has a position as part-time faculty at the California State University, Fresno for the physical therapy department. Rachel worked as an acute care physical therapist prior to this. She has been involved in promoting health in the Central Valley Community through her work as an assistant coordinator for UpDate On Health, organizing the Valley Women’s Health Conference, Valley Mental Health Seminar and the Valley Health Conference.

She is currently an assistant instructor for the Folsom Physical Therapy Long-term Orthpedic Manual Therapy course.

Brigit MooreBrigit Moore, MPT received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from California State University Fresno in 2005. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in Exercise Science in 2002. While in physical therapy school Brigit attended numerous courses from Folsom Physical Therapy. After moving back to the Sacramento area she worked as an outpatient physical therapist for Sutter Medical Foundation while attending the Folsom Physical Therapy Long-term Orthopedic Manual Therapy course for three consecutive years. She is currently an assistant instructor for the course.

In her spare time she volunteers at a program called Ride to Walk, which provides pediatric physical therapy on horseback riding. She has been with the program since 2006.
