New! Long-term Alumni Study Group
Folsom Physical Therapy Educational Division is pleased to announce a new clinical education opportunity for past Folsom Long-term Course participants. Michael J. Moore will personally host and oversee these periodic gatherings of long-term alumni. Study group activities will involve a focused interactive review of selected OMT concepts and techniques, utilizing case applications and current relevant findings from the evidence-based literature. Patient management strategies coupled with live patient demonstrations will be utilized by the group as possible. More in-depth training for treating at other joints such as the elbow, hip, and ankle are topics for future consideration.
Information regarding the first gathering of the Alumni Study Group is below. All long-term alumni are welcome to attend, and each study group session will be designed as a stand-alone educational experience.
We look forward to you joining us in pursuing on-going clinical excellence.

Topics of focus for March 30th-31st
- Upper cervical hypomobility and cervicogenic headaches
- Upper thoracic thrust technique
- Perfecting C-7 extension mobilization
Cost:
Fees will be used to support travel and honorarium costs of the senior instructor, and allow graduate students of the Physical Therapy Program from California State University Fresno to participate in study group activities.
