Michael J. Moore, PT
Michael J. Moore, PT received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed the six-month course in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, California. He also completed the two-year Norwegian Level I Mobilization Residency in Norway.
He is a faculty member of the Folsom Physical Therapy long-term course and has taught numerous short courses on the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
Michael is one of the eight founding fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.
He was intensely involved in the Folsom High wrestling program from 1994 until 2005. He remains semi-active with the program today, operating an optional strength/conditioning program to wrestlers and volunteering as a consultant to the team for musculoskeletal injuries.
Michael actively pursues ballroom dancing with his wife, Lynn Bollinger. Together they also enjoy musical theater, and sampling fine cuisine of favorite chef, son Daniel Moore.
Tim McGonigle, PT
Tim McGonigle, PT graduated in Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno. He completed both the Folsom Physical Therapy long-term course and Kaiser Hayward’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program [hyperlink]. Since 1984, Tim has been a partner with Michael at Folsom Physical Therapy, and a faculty member of the Long-term course. He has taught numerous short courses on the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
Published in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Tim also has been an invited speaker at numerous physical therapy conferences and at the UC Davis Pain Management Department.
Affiliations include membership in the APTA and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, in which he is a Full Fellow.
Rachel Worman, DPT

Rachel Worman, DPT received her B.S. in BioPsychology and Minor in Exercise and Health Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy degree at California State University, Fresno and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in the first joint doctoral program at the University of California, San Francisco and California State University, Fresno.
Rachel has been a part of the Folsom Physical Therapy long-term course and started the pelvic dysfunction program at Folsom Physical Therapy.
Brigit Moore, MPT
Brigit Moore, MPT attended UC Davis for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and continued on to Fresno State to get her Masters degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation in 2005 she moved back to Sacramento to work as an outpatient physical therapist for Sutter Medical Foundation. While working for Sutter she took the Folsom Physical Therapy long-term course for three consecutive years to continue her manual skills development and treatment planning for patients. Brigit is interested in adult vestibular disorders, and has developed FPT's balance and vestibular program.
When she is not working she volunteers most Saturdays at a program called Ride to Walk which provides pediatric physical therapy with horseback riding. She has been with the program since 2006. Allthough the age and diagnostic group is not common to the patients she sees on a regular basis, watching the children’s’ movement and learning how cue correct alignment is invaluable to her career with adults.
Kathie Peterson, MPT
Kathie Peterson, MPT graduated from California State University Fresno with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and continued on to receive her master’s degree in physical therapy. Extensive continuing education in extremity and spine rehabilitation introduced her to Folsom Physical Therapy, which led to completion of FPT’s long-term course for two consecutive years. Kathie has also completed a year-long course emphasizing the Australian manual therapy approach. Her career focus is in the outpatient orthopedic setting, with a growing specialization in sports conditioning and rehabilitation.
Kathie is excited to become a part of the highly skilled Folsom Physical Therapy team. Kathie and her husband are raising two children. She volunteers both in the classroom to assist in the growing struggle to provide quality education, as well as for CASA of Placer County which raises the voice of foster children in the court system. Kathie trains and competes in triathlons and marathons, and soon will progress to cycling at the century level.
